Redmi Note 11S & Redmi Note 11
The new Redmi Note 11 series is finally official. The successor to last year's Redmi Note 10 series is here. There are four models this time and there's something for every type of user packed into their sleek and modern designs. There are two vanilla models and two Pro variants of the Redmi Note 11. One of the Pro models supports 5G networks and is meant to land first in India. Features will be identical across all models but pricing might vary from market to market.
Redmi Note 11 is basically an upgraded Redmi Note 11S, complete with 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution. This phone has a higher refresh rate of 90Hz and touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The phones have a 700 nit screen and water resistance. The design is upgraded and there is Gorilla Glass 3.
The Redmi Note 11 gets the slower Snapdragon 680 chip and the Xiaomi Mi Note 11S has a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. The phones get NFC, dual speakers, 3.5mm jacks, and Android 11 out of the box. MIUI 13 is running on both phones with microSD card slots.
The Redmi Note 11S has a whopping 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro & 2MP depth cameras. The regular 50MP main camera of the Note 11 is a downgrade in comparison. The selfie camera on the other hand has a better megapixel count- 16 MP on the Note 11S and 13 MP on Redmi Note 11.
Redmi Note 11 Pro & Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G
The new Redmi Note 11 Pro models are a huge step-up from their predecessors and offer a ton of features: 6.67" AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 and upto 1200 nits screen brightness. The body of the phone is made out of Gorilla Glass 5 so you'll have protection in front. The back glass panel is strong too. It's rated IP53 for water and dust resistance.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G variant uses the MediaTek Helio G96 chip from the Redmi Note 11S. For 5G it uses a Snapdragon 695 chip. RAM and storage can be up to 8GB and 128GB, respectively. Both the new models feature a 5000mAh battery and ship with the fast 67W wired charging adapter. Xiaomi says that this will charge your phone from 0-50% in just 15 minutes.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G has a triple camera, 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro. On the 4G variant there are four cameras instead of three. It has a triple rear cameras and an additional depth sensor.
