About the Discount Calculator
Sale season throws confusing numbers at you — "50% + 20% off", "flat 40%", "buy more save more". The AlarmDaddy Discount Calculator cuts through it. Enter the original price and the discount percentage to get the final price and the exact amount you save. It also handles successive (stacked) discounts, where a second discount applies on the already-reduced price — which is why "50% + 20%" is never the same as 70% off.
Enter the marked price and one or two discount percentages. The calculator shows the final payable price, the total saved, and the effective single-discount equivalent for stacked offers. Use it while shopping to instantly check whether a deal is as good as the banner claims.

The formula
A single discount multiplies the price by (1 − discount). Successive discounts multiply again on the reduced price, so two discounts never simply add. The effective discount is the total saved divided by the original price.
