About the Dice Roller — Roll Virtual Dice
The AlarmDaddy Dice Roller rolls virtual dice for board games, tabletop RPGs and classroom activities. Choose how many dice (1 to 6) and how many sides each has — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 or d20 — then roll to see every die and the total.
Six-sided dice show real pips; larger dice show the number. It is a fair random roller that works when you have lost your physical dice, and it runs entirely in your browser.

The formula
Every die is rolled independently, with each face equally likely, using the browser's random generator. The total is simply the sum of all the dice you rolled.
